GVAT has racing every Saturday night from March to October.  The classes we offer have people from the age of 5 to 70.  All go-kart classes must have 5 entries to run for trophies.  The micro classes payout are based on car count.

Racing for the Kids:

We offer caged classes for the Kids which include Rookies (blue and purple), Juniors, along with a class for the little tykes that has a weedwacker engine.

Kid Karts: is a class for the ones just getting their hands and feet wet in the world of racing.  This is the class that they learn the meaning of the gas and the brakes.  They are taught what each flag stands for and the lights.  These karts have a weedwacker engine on them that kids from 5-7 years of age drive around the track with a smile you'll never forget after seeing.

Rookie Blue Plate Caged: is a class for the ages of 7-12 years of age that require a cage(for safety).  They are running a 5 horse briggs and stratton engine with a blue restrictor plate(animal or flathead).  Weight:280lbs min.

Rookie Purple Plate Caged: is a class just like the blue plate only with a purple restrictor plate(flathead only). Weight:265lbs. min.

Junior Caged: is for those 12-16 years of age that require a  cage(for safety).  They are running a 5 horse briggs and stratton engine with a gold restrictor plate (animal or flathead).  Weight:360lbs min.  

Adult Cage: is for those 16-?? years of age that require a cage(for safety).  They are running a 5 horse briggs and stratton engine (animal or flathead).  Weight: 410lbs min.

Lite, Medium, Heavy, Extra Heavy: is for those 16-?? years of age that is an open kart.  They are running a 5 horse briggs and stratton engine (animal and flat head). Weight: Lites:330lbs min.  Med:350lbs min.  Heavy:375lbs min.  Ex Heavy:400lbs min.

Mini Micros: is a class for those 16-?? years of age.  This class runs a 125cc engine on a go-kart chasis with a cage and wing.  Can run a 2 stroke or a 4 stroke enigne.  Weight:400lbs min.

125 Micros: is a class for those 12-?? years of age.  This class runs a 125cc engine on a micro chasis. Weight 600lbs min.

Rookie Micro: is a class for those 14-?? years of age that run a 250cc 2 stroke or 4 stroke engine. Weight 600lbs min.

Regular Micro: is a class for those 14-?? years of age that run a 250cc 2 stroke or 4 stroke engine. Weight 600lbs min.

600 Micro: is a class for those 14-?? years of age that run a 600cc engine. Weight 775lbs min.
